Attendant care and support in the home
The NIISQ provides lifetime support to people with serious injuries from motor accidents in Queensland. It funds rehabilitation, medical treatment, and other necessary support services to improve the person's quality of life and help them reintegrate into the community.
If you are a NIISQ participant, we may be able to provide your eligible supports. This is primarily attendant care and support in the home, with a focus on personal assistance for daily living including personal hygiene, meal preparation, shopping and giving participants access to the community.

Support worker screening, qualifications and skills
As a registered provider we must meet NIISQ service standards, with a strong focus on person-centred support. We are also obliged to provide thorough levels of workforce screening, so support workers with the appropriate qualifications and skills are provided. Our rigorous recruitment process includes best-practice workforce screening, which meets and exceeds NIISQ service standards. This includes a set of principles and processes to keep participants safe and to ensure they receive good quality treatment, care and support services.
