icare support services

icare is a government funded program that supports people who have been injured at work or in a motor accident, including people with work related dust diseases.

Support workers, and registered nurses are utilised to deliver individual support to clients in their home, work or social settings. Staff are specifically selected and trained to meet the needs and goals of each client. All support services are supervised by clinical care coordinators (registered nurses) who oversee all aspects of the program to ensure planned goals and outcomes are achieved.

"The support workers and office staff are wonderful. Always willing to help not only physically but also whenever I needed encouragement, they lifted my spirits. I wouldn’t be where I am today without Alliance Community."

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

Alliance Community are service providers who supply support staff to icare participants. We do not process claims. Depending on your circumstances, contact your employer, insurer or icare regarding making or lodging a claim.

Our commitment to the safety of our community is a priority, and at the heart of our culture.

This is achieved through best practice credentialing, screening and verification of candidates, all overseen by a leadership team deeply experienced in clinical expertise. We also meet our candidates face-to-face which allows us to rigorously evaluate them and make an informed decision about their suitability.

If you have been severely injured in a motor accident or at work in NSW, icare funds attendant care support in the home. This is delivered by support workers who help you with day-to-day activities that are difficult for you to manage because of your injury. This can include assistance with personal care/hygiene, managing medication, home rehabilitation programs and getting involved in community activities.
