What is Onsite Shared Support (OSS)?
Onsite Shared Support (OSS) is a shared support model delivered by Alliance Community from a dedicated onsite support hub within an SDA community.
OSS is designed to provide responsive support for unplanned or unexpected needs throughout the day and night. It complements a participant's existing support arrangements and provides an added layer of assistance, reassurance and independence.
How OSS can help
Our onsite team is available to:
- Help with unplanned incidental supports that are not part of your routine daily activities
- Respond to support needs that arise within the home environment
- Promote participant safety, wellbeing, and independence
- Assist with communication and coordination of support-related matters
- Support participants to feel confident and connected within their home
OSS is delivered alongside a participant's funded NDIS supports and is not intended to replace regularly scheduled Assistance with Daily Life (ADL) services.
Why choose Alliance Community?
Our onsite support model is designed to help participants live independently while knowing support is close by when needed.

What is Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA)?
Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) is housing designed for NDIS participants with very high support needs or extreme functional impairment. These homes include specialist design features that improve accessibility, safety and independence.
Alliance Community does not provide SDA housing directly. SDA properties are owned and managed by specialist housing providers, while Alliance Community delivers onsite support services that help residents make the most of their home and live as independently as possible.
