Our clients in the South are seeking compassionate and reliable Disability Support Workers to provide person-centred support to individuals living in the community. This is a rewarding opportunity to empower participants to achieve their goals and live independently.
Key responsibilities
- Providing personal care and daily living support
- Supporting community access and social participation
- Assisting with medication management (where qualified)
- Maintaining accurate progress notes and documentation
- Promoting choice, independence and dignity
- Domestic support and household tasks
About you
- Cert III in Individual Support (essential)
- Certificate IV in Disability (highly regarded)
- Experience in disability, aged care or community services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Current Australian Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Practical Manual Handling
