We are looking for experienced support workers to work with clients of all ages with complex needs and challenging behaviours to join our team in Adelaide, SA.
About the role:
We’re looking for experienced Support workers to work with clients of all ages with complex needs and challenging behaviours. The ideal Support worker will be seeking stable and consistent work, happy to work with a flexible availability, available to work 1-10hour shifts, including active overnight shifts.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Support the development of daily living skills and capacity for self-care
- Providing timely and accurate case notes
- Develop professional relationships with individuals, their families and others in the community
- Manage challenging behaviours should this arise
- Provide support to work towards individual goals
- Assist and monitor medications
Qualifications:
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability or higher
- National Criminal Police Check
- NDIS Workers Check
- Current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Current First Aid Certificate and CPR
- Manual Handling
- 3x Covid Vaccinations
- Certificate in Administer and Monitor Medications in the workplace or willing to obtain
