Alliance Community are a NDIS registered service provider specialising in delivering quality, individualised and flexible support services to the elderly, mental health clients, young and old people living with a disability. We also provide a broad range of services to clients outside the NDIS including Aged Care. 

About the role:

Alliance Community are looking for a team of Disability Support Staff to work with our client is located in the inner Western Suburbs - 5 mins from the CDB, in North Adelaide, SA.

We’re looking for only experienced Support Workers and the ideal worker must be happy to work with cats and be available for consistent work, available to work 3-10hour shifts, including passive overnight shifts. *Please do not apply if you cannot undertake 1 or more Passive overnights. 

We are looking for:

  • Support the development of daily living skills and capacity for self-care
  • Providing timely and accurate case notes
  • Develop professional relationships with individuals, their families and others in the community
  • Provide support to work towards individual goals
  • Assist and monitor medications

Qualifications:

  • Certificate III or IV in Disability or equivalent qualification
  • Training in medication administration, manual handling and behaviour management 
  • Current Manual Handling First Aid and CPR certification or a booking to complete one
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check, Police clearance and Working with Children’s Check. 
  • Completion of NDIS Quality, Safety, and You module
