This year, along with our sister agencies at Health Solutions Group Australia, we have been nominated as finalists for 'Excellence in Safety Culture' at the RCSA Awards (the peak body for the recruitment and staffing industry in Australia).
To be a finalist is a testament to the governance structures that guide the health and safety of our workforce and to the Alliance Community team at every level, who put the safety of our workforce at the core of our culture and operations. From the top down, WHS is understood through policy, our goals and vision and is achieved through team effort.
We are growing and hiring more people, who are working more hours, yet we have reduced the number of injuries and reduced costs related to managing WHS incidents. Furthermore, our organisation's incident rates are under benchmark for each of the industries we work in. An outstanding achievement.
Never has safety and risk had such sharp focus than in 2020. From managing employees and clients working in bushfire ravaged communities in January, to providing continuity of service throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. Our teams have gone above and beyond to be able to do this safely and without incident.
The RCSA 2020 Awards ceremony will be broadcast virtually at 3pm AEST this Friday 26 June.
